ZOZOpolo-H is a combination medication that contains Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, used primarily to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Together, these two ingredients work in synergy to control blood pressure more effectively than when taken alone.Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to narrow. This helps lower blood pressure and improves blood flow. It also helps protect the kidneys, especially in people with diabetes.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (commonly known as a "water pill") that helps the body get rid of excess salt and water through urination. This reduces the volume of fluid in the blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure and reduces swelling.
ZOZOpolo-H is often prescribed when blood pressure is not adequately controlled by losartan alone. Regular use helps reduce the risk of serious complications such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems.
