ZOGbet-N is a topical ointment that combines Nadifloxacin (10 mg), a powerful fluoroquinolone antibiotic, with Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%), a high-potency corticosteroid. This dual-action formula is used to treat infected inflammatory skin conditions, such as infected eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and bacterial skin infections including folliculitis and impetigo.Nadifloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA synthesis, thereby killing bacteria responsible for skin infections. It is effective against a range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium acnes. Clobetasol Propionate, on the other hand, helps reduce inflammation, itching, redness, and swelling by suppressing the overactive immune response in the affected area.
