VERDOfer-XT is a comprehensive hematinic supplement that contains Ferrous Ascorbate 100 mg, Folic Acid 1.5 mg, and Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate equivalent to 22.5 mg of elemental Zinc. This triple combination is used for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia, nutritional anemia during pregnancy, and general fatigue caused by iron and vitamin deficiencies.Ferrous Ascorbate provides elemental iron in a form that is well absorbed and well tolerated. The presence of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) enhances iron absorption in the intestines and supports the synthesis of hemoglobin. This helps in the effective treatment of anemia, especially in patients with low iron levels due to chronic blood loss, poor nutrition, or increased physiological demands like pregnancy.
