TIVAzol-D is a combination medicine that contains Domperidone and Rabeprazole, commonly used for the treatment of acid reflux, indigestion, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), nausea, and vomiting. It provides both acid suppression and improved gastric motility, making it highly effective in managing a wide range of upper gastrointestinal disorders.Domperidone is a prokinetic agent that acts on the upper digestive tract. It enhances the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass more easily through the stomach. This action helps relieve bloating, nausea, fullness, and early satiety, which are often associated with sluggish gastric emptying or reflux.
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the proton pumps in the stomach lining. This helps in relieving symptoms of acid-related disorders such as heartburn, acidity, gastritis, and stomach ulcers. By lowering acid levels, it also promotes the healing of acid-damaged tissues in the stomach and esophagus.
