TEEProse-100 contains Iron Sucrose 100 mg, an intravenous iron preparation used to treat iron deficiency anemia, especially in cases where oral iron supplements are not effective or tolerated. This condition commonly occurs due to chronic blood loss, poor dietary intake, malabsorption syndromes, chronic kidney disease (especially in patients undergoing dialysis), or during pregnancy when iron demands increase.Iron is a critical component of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body. A lack of iron leads to fewer red blood cells and a reduced oxygen-carrying capacity, causing symptoms like fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, dizziness, and pale skin.
