SANtuss-D is a combination cough syrup used to treat dry cough, nasal congestion, sneezing, and allergy-related symptoms caused by the common cold or upper respiratory infections. It contains three active ingredients that work together to provide fast and effective relief.Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that acts on the brain's cough center to reduce the urge to cough. It is particularly effective for dry, irritating coughs that don’t produce mucus.
Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, and watery or itchy eyes by blocking histamine, a natural substance produced by the body during allergic reactions.
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride is a decongestant that narrows the blood vessels in the nasal passages, helping reduce nasal stuffiness and improve breathing.
This combination offers all-around relief from cold and allergy symptoms. SANtuss-D should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid alcohol and do not operate machinery, as the syrup may cause drowsiness. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age unless directed by a physician. Prolonged or unnecessary use should be avoided.
