Santuliv-150 contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UDCA) 150mg, a naturally occurring bile acid used to treat certain liver and gallbladder conditions. It is commonly prescribed to dissolve cholesterol-based gallstones, improve bile flow, and treat primary biliary cholangitis (PBC)—a chronic liver disease. UDCA works by reducing the production of cholesterol in the liver and its absorption in the intestine, which helps decrease cholesterol saturation in bile.Santuliv-150 also protects liver cells from injury caused by toxic bile acids. It enhances the flow of bile, which is essential for digestion and waste elimination. This helps relieve symptoms such as itching, fatigue, and abdominal discomfort that are often associated with bile flow disorders. It is especially helpful in people with cholestatic liver diseases, where bile flow is impaired.
