SAN-DERM is a topical cream that combines four active ingredients—Beclomethasone Dipropionate, Neomycin, Miconazole Nitrate, and Chlorocresol—formulated to treat a variety of inflammatory, bacterial, and fungal skin infections.Beclomethasone Dipropionate (0.025%) is a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, redness, itching, and swelling on the skin. It is effective in controlling allergic and inflammatory skin reactions such as eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis.
Neomycin (0.5%) is an antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial growth on the skin. It helps prevent or treat secondary bacterial infections that may occur with skin conditions involving broken skin.
Miconazole Nitrate (2.0%) is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent used to treat fungal infections like athlete’s foot, ringworm, and candidiasis. It works by destroying the fungal cell membrane, thereby eliminating the infection.
Chlorocresol (0.1%) is used as a preservative to prevent microbial contamination of the cream and maintain product stability.
Together, these ingredients make SAN-DERM effective against mixed infections involving inflammation, bacterial, and fungal causes. It should be used only as prescribed and applied in a thin layer to the affected area. Avoid contact with eyes and do not use on open wounds unless directed by a doctor.
