Osani-100 is a dispersible tablet containing Ofloxacin 100 mg, a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections. It belongs to the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics and works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, an enzyme essential for bacterial replication and repair. By blocking this enzyme, Ofloxacin stops the growth of bacteria and helps eliminate the infection from the body.Osani-100 is effective against a wide range of infections, including those affecting the respiratory tract, urinary tract, gastrointestinal system, skin, and soft tissues. As a DT (dispersible tablet), Osani-100 is easy to administer—especially useful in children or patients who have difficulty swallowing. It can be taken with or without food, but should be taken at the same time every day for best results.
