OSANI-PLUS Cream is a topical formulation that combines four active ingredients: Ofloxacin (0.75%), Ornidazole (2.0%), Itraconazole (1.00%), and Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%). This unique blend is designed to treat a variety of mixed skin infections, especially those caused by bacteria, fungi, and inflammation.Ofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, making it effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Ornidazole is an antimicrobial agent that targets anaerobic bacteria and protozoa by damaging their DNA, thereby stopping their growth and spread. Itraconazole is a powerful antifungal that inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, leading to fungal cell death. Clobetasol Propionate is a potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, itching, and swelling by suppressing the release of certain chemical messengers in the skin.
Together, these ingredients make OSANI-PLUS highly effective in treating conditions such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, eczema, and other fungal or bacterial skin infections that may also involve inflammation. It provides quick relief from symptoms like itching, burning, redness, and swelling.
This cream is for external use only. It should be applied in a thin layer on clean, dry skin, usually twice a day or as directed by a physician. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and open wounds.
