MECOCET-P is a combination medicine containing Cetirizine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine, formulated to provide effective relief from symptoms associated with the common cold, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, and other upper respiratory tract infections.Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and nasal congestion by blocking the effects of histamine, a chemical released during allergic reactions. Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) is a commonly used analgesic and antipyretic that works by reducing fever and relieving minor aches and pains like headache, sore throat, and body pain often associated with colds and flu. It acts on the brain’s temperature control center and pain pathways.
