JEPram-20 contains Escitalopram Oxalate, a widely prescribed antidepressant that belongs to a class of medications known as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs). It is primarily used to treat major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).Escitalopram works by increasing the availability of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain that plays a key role in regulating mood, emotions, and behavior. In people with depression or anxiety, serotonin levels may be imbalanced.
