IFYcala Lotion is a topical dermatological preparation that combines the benefits of Calamine (8.0% w/w) and Liquid Paraffin (10.0% w/w) to provide effective relief from skin irritation, dryness, and mild itching. Calamine is a well-known skin protectant with soothing, cooling, and antipruritic (anti-itch) properties. It works by evaporating on the skin, producing a cooling effect that helps calm itching and inflammation caused by insect bites, sunburn, rashes, prickly heat, or minor allergic reactions. Additionally, calamine acts as a mild antiseptic, protecting irritated skin from secondary infections.Liquid Paraffin, on the other hand, is a hydrating emollient that forms a protective barrier on the skin surface. It locks in moisture, prevents transepidermal water loss, and softens dry, rough, or scaly skin. This makes IFYcala particularly useful in managing conditions like eczema, contact dermatitis, or chapped skin due to environmental exposure.
The lotion is easy to apply, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly without leaving residue. It is safe for use in both children and adults, though it should not be applied to open wounds or broken skin. For best results, apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily. Discontinue use and consult a physician if irritation worsens or persists.
