FULASOL-M is a combination medication that contains Flupenthixol, a typical antipsychotic, and Melitracen, a tricyclic antidepressant. This dual-action formulation is used for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and psychosomatic disorders, especially when both anxiety and depressive symptoms coexist.Flupenthixol works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter involved in mood, behavior, and cognition. By regulating dopamine activity, Flupenthixol helps stabilize mood, reduce psychotic symptoms, and control agitation or tension.
Melitracen enhances the levels of norepinephrine and serotonin, two key neurotransmitters involved in mood regulation. As a tricyclic antidepressant, it improves symptoms of low mood, lack of energy, and mental fatigue.
