FIXsana contains Cefixime 50 mg in the form of a dry syrup, specially formulated for children. Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works by killing bacteria responsible for various infections. It is commonly prescribed to treat bacterial infections of the lungs (such as pneumonia and bronchitis), throat (such as tonsillitis and pharyngitis), ears (otitis media), and urinary tract infections (UTIs).Once reconstituted with water as per instructions, FIXsana syrup is easy to administer and well-tolerated in pediatric patients. It begins working within a few days, helping reduce fever, pain, and other symptoms associated with infection.
