DIVITEL-40 contains Telmisartan 40 mg, an effective antihypertensive medication that belongs to the class of Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers (ARBs). It is primarily used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and can also be prescribed for reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage in high-risk individuals.Telmisartan works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a natural substance in the body that narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure.
