Ctriside-90 contains Etoricoxib 90 mg, a selective COX-2 inhibitor belonging to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with various musculoskeletal and joint conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, and chronic low back pain.Etoricoxib works by selectively inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme, which is responsible for the production of prostaglandins, the chemical messengers that cause pain, swelling, and inflammation.
