CLIVER-DS contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that is effective against a broad spectrum of bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, an essential component required for bacterial survival. Without a proper cell wall, bacteria become vulnerable and eventually die, thereby stopping the spread of infection in the body.Cefpodoxime Proxetil is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections (like pneumonia, bronchitis), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, ear infections (otitis media), and sinusitis.
