Aidoin-100 contains Nitrofurantoin, an effective antibiotic specifically used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by susceptible bacteria. It is commonly prescribed for infections of the bladder (cystitis) and lower urinary tract, particularly in women, due to its targeted action and high concentration in urine.Nitrofurantoin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA, RNA, and cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to the death of the bacteria.
