ANDYPINE-TRIO is a combination medication used to effectively manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains Amlodipine, Telmisartan, and Hydrochlorothiazide, three medicines that work together to provide comprehensive blood pressure control. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that helps relax blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents the action of substances that tighten blood vessels, further aiding in blood pressure reduction. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that helps the body remove excess salt and water through urine, lowering blood volume and helping the heart pump more efficiently.This triple combination is usually prescribed when blood pressure cannot be controlled adequately with dual therapy.
