ADMONT contains Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist used to manage and prevent symptoms associated with asthma, seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and allergic rhinitis. It works by blocking the action of leukotrienes, chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation, swelling, and narrowing of the airways, especially in response to allergens or irritants.By inhibiting leukotriene activity, ADMONT helps to reduce airway inflammation, relieve nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose, and prevent asthma symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.
